A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My facilitation style: I lead with a positive, empathetic approach to diplomacy, served with a smile and engaging energy.

I get a real kick out of: Helping others in a meaningful way or taking on a good challenge.  After all, I can be a contrarian.  And who does not love levity? A good laugh is great medicine.

What I look forward to most when working with a new client is getting to know them and their team well.  Building a good rapport is, first and foremost, an essential foundation to begin building trust.

Outside of work, you’ll find me: At soccer games, I cheer for my favorite Panther. Chilling at home with a good book, strolling with my Great Pyrenees dog, hiking with family and friends, taking road trips, stargazing, and gardening while trying to bring my “A” game in the green thumb club.  I love being a mom to my sweet-natured son and spend a lot of time building and demolishing LEGO builds with my son and husband.  There is never a dull moment.

My dream client: They are people-first centric, frank, kind, hungry to learn and grow. They elevate and uplift others, believing in creating a purposeful and fun work culture.

The number one thing I’ve learnt as a facilitator: Refrain from taking a person’s power away and do not solve someone’s challenge, pain, or problem. Listen, discern, and engage with participants so they feel empowered to ideate, express their thoughts, and contribute or create solutions they wish to bring to the table, leading to a more effective organization, an authentic team experience, a collaborative culture, and excellent client experience.
